Disagree to an extent.

Young players at mid level clubs on newly signed contracts = minimum fee clauses.

Won't be that high as players interests will be well protected.

Any young ambitious player in the England squad will look out for themselves when not at a top four club.

These figures will sound silly, I'm not saying its what I think they are worth, saying what I think it would take for us to sell today.

At this point in their contracts Forster would be valued at around £30m, VVD would not be sold for less than £50m. Obviously that is more than they are worth (and more than we will eventually sell them for) but thats what the price would be today to realistically get us to sell. Like I say, not going to happen I don't think.

Mane will probably go for £35m if he goes this summer. He's one we might cash in on as he's deeper into his contract, his value will go down next season due to contract status, he wants to go so is unlikely to renew. We don't need to sell him and could use him next year but if someone offers around that figure I think we'd sell.

Wanyama is available cheap at the moment at around £12-15m. Wanyama is realistic as in the last year of contract and wants to go.

I agree with the consensus of other posters here, the foreign market is the way to go, its going to be silly in the PL with all the new money going around.

VVD wont go for 50 mil as John stones reached 40 odd last year and hes English- I agree hes a good player tho

a good goalkeeper would be a start, and they have one. But yeh, he'd cost loads and tbh may not want to leave for us.
 
Rom won't be happy next season if he is still here, therefore I expect him to perform like he did the tail end of season. We will need a new striker,

Yeh Rom's off. Would imagine that Moshiri pretty much said that to RK but guranteed him all the money, and that he will only go if our valuation is met.

I also think he'll have told him he'll offer huge sums to Stones and possibly Barkley to guarantee their 'loyalty'.
