Its not that....its the constant banging on about having to sell Stones or Lukaku to increase the wage budget.

Weve let go of a few players this summer and stupidly (under bob) extended Oviedo and Kones contracts.

Now under Korman Gibson has extended and now this donkey keeper who was awful at southampton will take up £50-60k on wages when they shouldnt even be in the squad..

That would be enough to extend Lukaku or Stones contracts

The needs to sell isn't to increase the wage budget because we can't afford it. It's to allow us to increase it due to FFP. Gibson and Steklenburg's signings have no impact on our ability to pay the wages for bigger signings - if we hadn't signed them we'd still need to sell and make a big profit to allow us to increase the wage budget by more than 7 million.

What do you make of the Polish lad Liverpool are linked with mate? Seems a strange link.

I don't really know what to think about him. He played really well in Serie A last season but he failed badly in our national team every single time when he came on the pitch. He's still young and have a plenty of potential for sure but I don't ratę him that much.

Stecklenberg, on the face of it, does appear to be a huge waste of wages. Surely Robles isn't worse than him? Taking age into account too. Really weird signing.

Koeman will want to see the team first before he knows who he can work with and he cant work with, he will know our weakness by now but he might be able to improve the players more then Martinez could. He knows he need a keeper so he can do this without messing the team. He doesn't know if lukaku is staying so he doenst know when to buy a partner for him or a new main Striker. He doenst know if stones is staying so it's a bit hard to play in the market right now. Hopefully he knows that we need a left winger and bring one in soon. He needs to see the kids to see if they could fill in the positions we need.

Sounds promising keeper wise. Stelekenberg good back up to have, experienced and not too long ago was highly thought of. Will be a lower contract as well than what you think he will be on.

Begovic the other it seems? Not complaining. One of the best keepers in the league only a few years ago. Put him here with two competition players and may get that back out of him again.
