who you talking about mate? Jo scored 1 in 24 for city and the other geezer plays for a French club.

edit sorry mate you mean Balotelli yeah? Played for City about 4 years ago and scored 3 goals for Milan this season so I'm assuming your record is going by his goalscoring record from before he went to the RS?

Yes, like I said in the post, last 2 seasons have been rubbish

I know he is RS but I'd like to see Balotelli join us, maybe on a pay as you play contract, think he has massive potential but is obviously a complete bell end!!

Yes he might cause disruption but surely that could form part of his contract, p**s around and your contract is terminated, when he has his mind focused he is a clinical finisher and with Koemans obviously hot on fitness I could see him being a very good buy if we got him on our terms.
No mate.

@Ashtonian @Zatara

The thing is lads if we sell Stones then I have no issues with us chunking most if not all of our budget on 2 CB's and a keeper if they're good. Reason being we showed last season that even with an average manager tactically we had - for the most part - absolutely no issue scoring goals. If we can sort fitness and consistency we have enough in Lukaku, Barkley, Geri and Kev to do damage. What we didn't do well was defend. Soooo speaking very, very hypothetically if we spend all our money and Koeman trains them right we can start ironing out the stupid goals we were conceding. We scored the joint 7th highest goals with Chelsea and that was with some horrendous barren runs from our players.

Same attackers + miles better defenders = higher up the league.

Agreed. If we got Leno Koulibaly and Manolas then id be quite happy just with that but at minimum we would still need one or two more and to move on deadwood.

I mean kone and niasse cant be ojr backup for lukaku.

I am not giving his position away on here. I am already paranoid about my friend reading this.

Look lads, I am passing on information from a VERY good source. It's all I can say. The bloke has worked at Carrington for 3 different managers and gets told EVERYTHING. Mata is staying. Fellaini is 50/50. Pogba is done as long as Juventus land Higuain and some other expensive player. (Juve already splashing the Pogba money, this news will be out by tomorrow mark my words.)

Guy tells us everything we want to know. Mata is off, finito. If you don't believe me I couldn't care less.

But don't go crazy when Mata is sitting on the bench in a Man Utd kit at Bournemouth in 4 weeks time.

Just wanted to applaud you on the use of:

couldn't care less

So many people writing "could care less" which doesnt make one iota of sense.

Are you suggesting that the best man manager ever, broke The Bal? According to my sources he's desperate to move to Celtic to continue his football education.

When you want to colloquially express that you don’t care at all about something you might say “I couldn’t care less.” This phrase first popped up in British English at the turn of the 20th century and is still popular today. In the 1960s, a controversial American variant of this phase entered popular usage: “I could care less.” Many native English speakers, both in the UK and US, find this expression to be logically flawed. If you couldn’t care less, then you care so little about something that it would be impossible for you to care any less than you do. If you could care less, however, you are saying, literally, that it is possible for you to care less than you care now. Those who take issue with this believe this later variant says very little about your level of caring, and so eschew it.
