Aye i would do that lol

If i'm wrong i'm wrong.

Fair play!

I think when Stones goes we will need 2 CBs. If its true weve bid for both rugani and koulibaly then we must be going after 2 as theyre totally different types of defender.

Also i dont think just one defender is enough for Koemans 3 year tenure if hes going for short term success..

lol well if we did then i would be wrong in my thinking so happy to accept. I can't see it but as you say we may go after 2 and spend a fair bit of money so if it happens then Abel can cheer on Axel for a bit.

You bought your season ticket based solely on the impression we were going in big this summer? What kind of fan are you?
Not me but there's a reason why season tickets sales have hit an all time record and it's not down to the fantastic football that was witnessed at Goodison last season.

It's up to you to judge why people spend their money. It's their money and they have spent it expecting money to have been spent this window.

It does matter. Season tickets cost a lot of money and they have been bought under the impression by people there would be a lot of money spent this window. It's dishonest of the club if that doesn't happen.

If you're buying an ST because you expect to see 'BIG' signings then you need to have a big think & a biscuit.

And as for '...it's dishonest of the club if that doesn't happen' ?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

Mate.....what does that actually mean?

There's a reason that we put our Season tickets out earlier than nearly every other PL club. Its because historically we don't do much exciting business in the summer to enable people to get excited about coming to the old lady every week to see. We strike whilst the iron is hot and excitement is fever pitch.

IIRC the earliest we ever had them out is the last time we finished 5th and were in the CL race until quite late in the season.

So just out of curiosity.. Has anyone actually considered that Esk is also making up that he has these sources? I can't believe that people just take everything he says as gospel.

It is fake ITK 101. Make up information based on media reports. Say you have sources. Post ambiguous things (i.e. we will make a signing on Friday but not mentioning which signing). Blame the sources when those things don't come off.

One day everyone will realise that the guy has been having you on all along. If he was posting negative ITK details you wouldn't believe a word of it.

Oh and by the way, I have two sources that confirmed Esk is full of [Poor language removed] but for confidentially reasons I can't tell you what those sources are. If it turns out that he is telling the truth, the information sourced must have been wrong, so don't blame me. I just pass on what I receive.

You can understand people's scepticism if no quality signings are announced before the days out.
Can't understand why an announcement is expected today with the manager, staff, team and even the under 21's out of the country. Where would this announcement take place and by whom would it be given?
The massacre in France surely just reinforces that it can't be today. A leak in the Telegraph shows there's been encouraging movement on the DOF front and hopefully next week will bring concrete movement regarding signings. More patience required.
