Disagree mate signing him would show intent, show ambition for the first time since ive been alive, sign players like him rom ross geri stones etc will buy into it, he is a upgrade on kone! he will be worth a lot more and sign for someone bigger if he does well in the euros, were not desperate for any position maybe a goalkeeper but no one sells there 1st team goalkeeper in january, only a back up right back!

I agree with what you said about showing intent mate but it just seems like a risky move, signing Rom was also a showing of intent but it was basically guaranteed profit since he was 21 and already proven in the league.

We have to offload some players before thinking about Yarmolenko, otherwise it just seems like we're stockpiling players. I'm not even talking about obvious dead wood like McGeady or Pienaar, i'm thinking either Mirallas/Lennon has to go to make way for Yarmolenko and it just doesn't seem realistic.

All i'm saying really is i want us to sign him but i don't think we're in the right position to do so.

some people say defensive failings, but the games we've lost points in this season are the games we've not created/scored enough.

I imagine Bobby has decided (like Fergie did at ManUtd) that outscoring the opposition is a lot easier and fun to watch than hobbling the attack trying to keep a defence duck-arse tight and cling onto 1-0s (if we can get the 1)

Only Leicester and City scored more than we did this season, and they're 2nd and 3rd respectively, how many goals do we have to score to be higher than 11th place? We scored 7 in the last 4 games but took only 4 points from them with the only win being 1-0.

Martinez on Yarmolenko
Martinez on Yarmolenko’s agent being at Goodison: “I don’t know the identity of every person in Goodison. We even had a cat there! Nothing to comment. :D:D:D

“We could see a player arrive, I never close the door... or window... we have been working hard.”

Oh for the love of God Roberto, stop flirting with us...MAKE IT STOP!!!!!!!!!

Massive, massive smile on his face when talking about Yarmolenko.
'Can we see someone like Yarmolenko coming in?' - RM - 'Yes, yes we can'. Boom.

I am going to watch this presser at home tonight whilst I have tea in the oven (home-made lasagne)

If I find the above to be exaggerated or a lie then I am coming for you Chimpy my friend...

Obviously not getting Iarmolenko ffs. Such good things only happen once every twenty years... We've had our share this decade in getting Lukaku. Last real big one was Kanchelskis, getting him in would be too much. Maybe we might get him and sell Lukaku in the summer, that'd make more sense, can't be having too many good players while finishing bottom half like!
