Obviously not getting Iarmolenko ffs. Such good things only happen once every twenty years... We've had our share this decade in getting Lukaku. Last real big one was Kanchelskis, getting him in would be too much. YARMOLENKON!!!! Not only the smile and the misdirection to the cat one of my fav shows in the world is Tim Roths Lie to Me...


In it he states that men have erectile tissue at the end of our noses and we can't help but touch it sub consciously when we are being deceitful...when asked the question "could we see a player I that caliber come in?" Bobby said yes it's a possibility and there was no signs of lying

As he finished the questioning about yarmolenko he stated there is no information at this time regarding him he instantly broke eye contact and touched his nose


I'm sold lol there is no way tim Roth would lie to us would he?

Haha, I am exaggerating a bit but when he was asked about Yarmolenkos agent being there he said 'I didn't know they were there' and 'lots of people were there' ect. Then he was asked if he could see someone like Yarmolenko arriving and he immediately answered 'yes, yes I could'.

Imagine Martinez leading us to the coveted eleventh place trophy with a squad containing Coleman, Baines, Stones, Barkley, McCarthy, Deulofeu, Mirallas, Lukaku AND Yarmolenko. Really would be a feat and a half tbh, as literally any other manager would fail to not get top four with such players available to them.

Jokes aside, I seriously hope there is something in this, he is one hell of a player and could kick us on big time.

Well I didnt manage to watch the presser live but on the youtube video I just watched the Yarmolenko part was completely messed up, Audio became unlistenable and the video jibbed out big time so anyone watching it later are going to be be disappointed, Unless it's re uploaded

I agree with what you said about showing intent mate but it just seems like a risky move, signing Rom was also a showing of intent but it was basically guaranteed profit since he was 21 and already proven in the league.

We have to offload some players before thinking about Yarmolenko, otherwise it just seems like we're stockpiling players. I'm not even talking about obvious dead wood like McGeady or Pienaar, i'm thinking either Mirallas/Lennon has to go to make way for Yarmolenko and it just doesn't seem realistic.

All i'm saying really is i want us to sign him but i don't think we're in the right position to do so.

I dont think we will sign him personally mate and i agree with what your saying, i think mirallas will go if we do sign him which i dont think is likely but i just think if this deal is possible it needs to be done show these players we have we want to go play if with the top 4 that we want the champions league, look honestly mate our team is a few class players away from being able to compete in europe but if we dont act soon (Southampton) we will lose our best players and will always be (developing)

That was out and out the most evasive I've ever seen Martinez when asked a direct question about a player, an already really strong gut feelign we will sign him has been multiplied ten fold.

interesting that of the three offers for McGeady he stated one was from abroad, wonder if he has been offered to Kiev on loan
