Of course it doesn't mean we can't sign a decent striker but how many realistically get 20 goals a season. That's a lot of goals and assists to find from the rest of the team once Rom leaves requiring substantially upgrading every position.

A little frustrated by the lack of transfer activity considering what Koeman said a number of weeks ago. I'm starting to guess that transfers won't go through until teams have taken stock of all their players and needs in the window. I know it sounds very logical but when people are starting to voice concerns over lack of activity, it may have been more wise for Koeman to say FA.

Having a manager is akin to having three top players. So this window has already been solid, if we get Hart, Martina, Kone and a striker then it will of been exceptional.

Remember when martinez was in London for a work permit for Fernando on deadline day? I remember a few getting over excited .

Deadline day usually causes all kinds of glitches in the space/time continuum. For example: A particular player may simultaneously appear in many different, remotely located places, at the same time. Players will sign deals in one club, while appearing to be walking into the offices of a completely different club, all at the same moment . Worst of all, people will become so confused that they can no longer keep a grasp on reality and their heads fall off.
