No, in this situation he had a chance to sign for us, turned it down (so didn't want to come here) basically to sign for juventus. then last minute decides to take the offer after all when he knows the move he has been promised won't happen after all.

So what. The minute we are able to attract someone better he will be shown the door. That's life. Same as any job.

As long as he performs on the pitch and respects the club and fans that's all I care about.

either everton sign a player that wouldn't even be at the club if a CL club came for him, or at least knowing he didn't want to sign the contract to begin with.

Or we sign a player who is actually a decent fella who hoped to get the move he wanted, didn't, and then took us up because he was interested after all.
