He is what he is- nonstop motor that gets him into lots of good spots, but not much quality.

As Boston Red Sox fans there was one pitcher, John Burkett, who we called The Napkin (youze might say The Serviette). Because starting him instead of another pitcher was like wiping with a napkin instead of toilet roll because you were out of toilet roll. You never wanted to use the napkin. The napkin was not pleasant. The napkin wasn’t really supposed to be fit for purpose. The napkin was never going to be first choice. But you know what, the napkin turned out to be adequate. Not pretty or nice but in the final analysis it was ok, it did the job.
