I think this team is just unable to play on the front foot - can only seemingly win games when the opponents come at us.

I'm very downbeat.

You can make allowances for fatigue, but its not as if we have had European games to contend with either.

I just felt the attitude and application last night was just shockingly poor.

We should never be given the run-around by Fulham at home, under any circumstances.

It feels like a new low, and the glow of Wednesday's result completely gone.

Last night was a disgrace and this has happened too often now.

Would like to think that mate then I look at the defeats to Newcastle and West Ham at home and how similar they were.

Yes worrying trend our home games being outplayed & outrun...

Leicester 1-1.....Man utd....1-3......West ham....0-1.....Newcastle.....0-2.....Leeds....0-1......Fulham....0-2....

But same for most teams with no crowds, our away form has been very good which is unusual too...

We do need younger legs in our midfield to produce the intensity & energy required in today's modern football...

Last night we had James,Sigurdsson & Gomes who are not providing the energy required & Richarlison who seems to produce when he feels like it...

Agree with what your saying, but that team looked dead on their feet from the first minute. Why the hell was King left on the bench ? He must have been as fresh as a daisy, he never played against Spurs at all and I thought it showed when he came on as well. Our best most energetic midfielder on the night, not saying much was Tom Davies, yet he was hooked first. We looked legless, yet the other week, unsure of the spelling, Onyango an absolute unit, powerfully, had a fine cameo, okay a kid, but surely better than what we had out, because he could have ran. The same with Nkounkou, the young reserve left back. Thought we started with the wrong g formation, love Ancelotti, but I thought he got it badly wrong last night, I mean was Sigurdsson centre forward last night ? The game was screaming for a King debut.
And what is it with teams that are aggressive and press high against, I'm not talking about your, Liverpool, Man Cities or United's. Fulham, Newcastle, both distinctly worse teams than us, who have came to Goodison and outfought and outplayed us and have deservedly won here with others of their kind. In my view I'd move Godfrey back to full back, right back, where he seems to have more influence in the game.

There wasn't any one individual that deserved getting MOTM. This was as woeful a display I.ve seen since Martinez's Wigan side battered us in the FA cup. Fulham out-muscled us, out-played us and out-footballed us. Not one player seemed interested. Sorry, at times I saw Rodriquez waving his arms to get people to push up. It's been a case of one step forward two steps back. Maybe too many have been instilled with a big time Charlie attitude.

Annoying that it was flipping obvious that this was going to happen. Odd starting line up with Rico on the left and Siggurdson in that false 9. Might have worked away at Wolves, but at home against Fulham? our 'flair' midfielders (James, Gomes, Sigg) were all completely outrun, a couple of strange subs, Mason was having a shocker so taking off Seamus when we needed more attacking impetus seemed odd, Davies getting hooked was odd, thought he was doing OK.

We ended up with a 4-4-2 with Dacoure playing right-wing? Despite Iwobi warming the bench

to top it all off, Ashley Willaims on punditry duty? Having to pay a subscription to listen to that useless so and so taking about Everton

On numerous occasions last night we alarmingly had no player in the middle so they were able to knock it round at will. Noone was prepared to take a pass then turn with the ball and progress forwards with intent - even Doucoure who executes this well normally. We continuously pass back to someone under pressure who was anxious to get rid of the ball in the first place so lose possession instantly. I dont know how many times our players play shocking balls then put their hand up to say "yeah I know that was terrible.. but anyway". It does matter. I really dont get how professional athletes under the control of sports scientists with state of the art facilities at their disposal fail to break sweat in a cant be arsed performance and then its referred to as tiredness. Sit them down...play the match video...discuss.
