Some people seem to be treating this as the "less important" fixture, with City and Liverpool on the horizon.

I'd argue it's even more important. If we play like we did against Newcastle and lose this, we could win at Anfield for the first time in about a million years and be no better off in a points sense than if we'd just beaten Fulham and lost the two "tougher" fixtures.

A win today opens the door to one or both of those next two games actually meaning something if/when we get a result.

Huge game this, following some of the results already, but these are the ones where we have tripped up on - I hope Carlo rips into the boys before the game.

Our goal difference is terrible and could be the difference between finishing 4th or 5th. We need to put teams like Fulham to the sword and stick few past them.

Yesterday on SS app they said Everton could catch Liverpool but Liverpool have a far superior goal difference.

However it's not a 6 pointer, next week is, and far more important for many reasons

We need 3 points today if we want CL, can’t see us beating City, they conceded 1 goal in 12 games and that was a dive/Pen

As for next Saturday, we have been here before, we can win because of xyz yet we fail to win. I’d be amazed if we even get a draw next week

O yeah we do, to be honest I can see us being worn out after Thursday, so I dont think its going to be as easy as some think
