Message to Pocchetino and Martinez: Liverpool played in Europe on Thurs, Southampton didn't
They also have a massive squad and referees who let them off the hook a lot early in games when they should have been punished.Message to Pocchetino and Martinez: Liverpool played in Europe on Thurs, Southampton didn't
Back to blaming the refs again ha ha priceless. They also have a massive squad and referees who let them off the hook a lot early in games when they should have been punished.
Who cares about what he did in the world cup or what a lame duck president called him? You really make some laughable statements, but I'm sure you're just having a bit of fun!I think a lot of posters are forgetting Tim's performance in the World Cup (v Belgium). He got a phone call from President Obama and was called the US Secretary of Defence.
I'm not blaming any ref for our draw. You were comparing Liverpool's fate today with ours and Spurs. Well Liverpool got a massive amount of good fortune didn't they? Or maybe you think they didn't.Back to blaming the refs again ha ha priceless.
I blame the idiot who crossed out joels name on the teamsheet today and put in howards
No-one is criticising Howard for his record at everton. Last year he had a fine season (aided by a solid defence) but this year he has made a number of errors. I guess that what separates the top keepers from the rest, those keepers that make the fewest errors, unfortunately in that regard Howard has been poor this season. Robles was just beginning to find his feet (3 clean sheets in a row) and was dropped for Howard. I don't think that is sending out the correct message to the team.
do you blame himMirellas was off the pitch and down the tunnel in double quick time, while his team mates stopped to shake hands, not a happy man.

Many different issues to take from this game.
Howard - his best asset he had is his instinctive shot stopping, but since the world cup that's just disappeared and quite simply is finished. Most keepers get by with tactical positioning with age but he never had that.
Baines - again maybe it's post world cup but he has been going through the motions. Oviedo and garbutt have more intensity and should start.
Midfield - against young boys there was running into spaces and played with speed. In the league we're static, and for once we can't blame this on Barry. Off the ball we run like headless chickens, on the ball everyone waits for something spectacular and don't take risks.
Wingers - need an actual top 4 quality winger.
Lukaku and barkley - again, very young and very gifted, but need to be cleverer and focus more. Both are at their best when playing instinctively but should do much better when given time to think. That's why I think they play best on the counter, but poorly when playing against a wall.
For me, writing things down helps the pain
