Not sure if this has been mentioned, and of course it could be rubbish but..... talk Harry the diver is out injured. We should have enough to beat these, they are very fragile and in a bad place.

hard to know which way to swing on this one - ofc Kane always scores against us, but they arguably played better without him when Son was running things for them towards the back-end of last season.

Son is the better all around player the other lot were raving about him after the other week's game, talking as if he's already one of the first signings of the Summer.

And when Poch brought Kane straight back in for the CL final, we all know what happened..

Thanks for the insight mate. Great perspective. As a fan we always seem to focus on our own troubles. Can’t see anything but a win for you though especially if you score first. Hope not like but just think Alli, Son, and Kane are going to outcome us

Kane hasn't travelled (apparently). Put those 3 points in the bank.

Any reason why he hasn't travelled? You've been far from your best this season, however you still have an abundance of quality in your squad.

Absolutely no idea. When they did the injury update during the week he wasn't mentioned.

If we have to go 4-2-3-1 I wouldn't mind Rich up front and DCL out wide left. I know he's a striker but I think he could cause lots of issues for Aurier and Pickford seems to only know how to ping it out wide.

I was the resident compiler for the local paper for six years but stopped as they didn't have a crossword editor to keep me on my toes. That was eight years ago and I had got a bit rusty since. I've already had one cryptic published on Big Dave (pseudonym Dumber because the MENSA magazine asked if I could dumb my clues down a bit for them!) but my second puzzle includes a couple of my favourite clues, one of which won a Guardian Unlimited clue-writing competition years ago - Yep, it'll stick plastic instantly (7-5) and another that is too easy for regular solvers but has a good surface reading - Sailors in the drink (8)

It was suggested I change my pseudonym so I dropped the D and am now Umber.
I enjoy attempting the cryptic in the Metro each day, but don't complete it very often. Huge respect to crossword compilers like you!
