Just don't understand this logic.

I have no idea why a one off result makes this much difference to whether a manager stays or goes.

For me, he should still be sacked with a win.
Because of the fixture list coming.

Win today and potentially with Newcastle Southampton and Norwich to come , that could be 4 wins in November. Now I know the key word is should be but on paper at least you expect us to win those. The league changes for us with even 10 out of 12 and we go into December with confidence again and momentum.

Lose today and make it 7 out of 11 games and the next 3 are making ground. You need a new manager to have those games to win himself ahead of December so he has the momentum.

This isn't a keep or sack situation. It should be but it isnt, even a loss today gives him one more game and the cycle continues. However we go into December with anything less than 10 points this month and there isn't coming back. Any new manager then isn't the same calibre, no second half surge up the table and dare I say, massive set back in ambition again.

That's why today is big, he should have went after burnely , today is the last chance we have before any new man drops in calibre.

If we win, then as our manager we can get behind him to keep going , even if a lot of us want him gone.
