Apologies if this has already been posted, but absolutely love this from Nais!

Distin looking sideways there at that and thinking: "I hope Tomkins lamps that little tit".

I'm not sure tbh mate. I remember him doing something quite similar against Swansea at home though, not sure if it won a pen or not actually. Something definitely sticks in my mind that he may have done it once before. I'm still getting over Phil Nevilles shameless attempt a few years ago!
I haven't seen the Phil Neville one for ages but I remember that there was contact - to his back, I think - and I don't know what the fuss was about. It's when they go down when they weren't touched, Suarez style that annoys me

Yes, but Suarez went down with his face screwed up in agony. I think that's what irritated me most about the dirty cheat. I've never seen Ross do it before but Suarez did it several times a match.

I'm not defending Barkley, though. I hope he cuts it out.
The best was him clutching his jaw in agony after he bit chiellini lol

Tomkins comes out and say's he's embarassed by how he acted but that Mirallas did hit him on the chin.

West Ham fans respond with "It's a pity Everton are making excuses for Barkleys disgraceful actions instead of being classy like Tomkins" (i'm paraphrasing.

I find this to be exceedingly hilarious.

Tomkins can't tell his chin from his chest.... in fact, what Barkley did is almost the opposite of what Tomkins did. Ross dived, there was absolutely no contact. He didn't claim a free kick and was on his feet immediately, the ref cocked it up... and not many professionals are going to say 'no, that's actually not a free kick' (we see this multiple times in every games with players trying to con a throw-in or a corner). Tomkins reaction after the incident was the opposite and was a conscious attempt to have another player sent off.
