Was at Salford Port Vale last week, didn’t even realise that Luke Garbutt and Conor Mcalny are there. They actually weren’t half bad at that level but… league two. Did make me wonder what the hell our scouting / academy logic has been over the years and I look at line ups like today and the obvious need for wing back talent and I wonder still what the long term strategy was for replacing Baines or Coleman.
