Match Thread Everton vs Liverpool - POSTPONED

It’s really odd the club posted a message about the final derby coming up and then 45 minutes later cancel it. They must have known discussions were ongoing.

It’s odd that we’re the only match in the yellow zone that has called off and you’d think it was better we had an early kick off anyway. This weather would have suited us much more.
First message was probably automated on a schedule tbf, mate

The land of rain and storms and the game gets postponed, didnt think british people were afraid of some bad weather. Wouldnt have been called of in most other countries. Think something fishy is going on here. Only our game as well.

OK, I'm not a season-ticket holder, or a local, but I'd sooner the weekend got off to a bad start this way, rather than possibly losing to that lot.

How bad is the weather up there? A fair bit of rain and a lot of strong gusts down here in Kent - driving to see friends in Suffolk in an hour or so, hopefully with the wind behind us.

It's pretty bad like. Aintree races have been cancelled too.

Its the right call, we had a fan die in high winds a few years ago away to Leicester. It's just not worth the risk.

Poor bugger, this years Ric Wee, lads name is Bruce Piss.

It's gusting a fair bit in Cambridge. Rain is easing but there will be a few trees down locally for sure. Safe travels be careful on the A11 coming in

Ironic that at the opening of Goodison Park we were the only club in this City with major honours and in the year we close the doors to GP they won 69 major honours and could be 70 or more to our 24 major honours and we`ve been barren for 30 years......

We will always be the poor relations in this City and tomorrow will show the absolute Gulf between the 2 clubs.
"always" ?
