Kenny playing at right back. Ledson (I suppose) is on the bench and Rossiter back in.
....not overly impressed with Rossiter, looks slow both in terms of pace and movement of the football. Not surprising he's dropped to Rangers standard but surprising/disappointing he's not only getting a game here but doing so ahead of Ledson. Kenny doing ok, looks solid enough without having the ability to go past people in the attacking third.

Kenny is just about the best of the England players, quite a few crosses into the box and a lot going down his side. I agree with the comments about Rossiter - I thought the same in his previous match. Yard dog with the pace of a late-period Gerrard. Being slightly biased (!) I'd bring Ledson on just for his ability to pass the ball.
The England forwards are learning that the flicks and tricks that look flash on the training ground against lesser youth team players don't necessarily work against a decent Italian defence (even if it is at youth level).
when I saw the team my first thought was " a bunch of very talented attacking individuals who don't play as a team and won't pass to a team mate if they can go it alone". Looks that way at times . Shame Ledson didn't start his un fussy approach would be a benefit.
Said this during the game vs France as talented as Onomah, Solanke etc. seem to be they very much play as individuals and were very wasteful in possession. I think Chelsea's loaning out policy has caused this with their players as they're in new squads every summer.
Weird towards the last 20 minutes of the second half where it looked as though they were deliberately ignoring playing it out to whoever was on the right on occasion even though they were standing free.
Kenny went over to play in central defence for the last 10 minutes or so when Walker-Peters went off.
I presume the two of them will get a break now before they come back to the club?
