My name's Dale, I'm 21 and I'm one of many Everton supporters living in Australia.
I'm currently at the University of Wollongong (an hour south of Sydney) studying Journalism and French.
I've played football all my life, floating from the wing to striker to my current position of keeper, where I spend my time knitting and drinking tea. I was offered a spot playing in the state league here, but my parents thought 16 was a good age to be studying, not playing football so seriously.
Many people stop me in the street and ask me: why do you support Everton? I tell them, "I honestly can't tell you. Nothing else feels right. It's meant to be."
Truthfully, I like my fellow American forumite watched the 95 Cup triumph - in fact it was the first game I stayed up and watched as a kid (Cup finals usually start around midnight here and I was only 6). I fell in love with the Blues, and that love has grown ever since.
I'm looking forward to getting my opinion out there in what seems to be a wonderful forum and seeing our club flourish for many years to come
