Expectations for next season

At the start of every season, its all to play for and I usually have a sense of optimism. Most years I look at our squad and think we could qualify for Europe, we could easily win a cup. Usually we make a signing or 2 and I'm excited to see what they add. Admittedly its been a long time since I thought we might win the league. At this point I don't think my expectations have ever been lower. I forecast few signings, a lot of the deadwood remaining, mid table mediocrity and no trophies. Anyone got a better crystal ball?

I've got modest expectations just being in the top half and challenging for the top ten/europa is our usual and realistic target. It's hard to gage without seeing who we bring in yet.
