The clubs should have a right to request that if certain fixtures are drawn out, the balls are replaced and re-drawn so as to avoid the most troublesome ties and reduce the strains and costs of policing an event where there is a high chance of trouble occurring.

Absolutely everybody i spoke to in east london rolled their eyes at the news of the West Ham v Millwall draw. I know several stewards in the boleyn ground, they feared for their safety inside the ground as all the police had been pulled outside.

I believe The F.A. should clearly state in advance that there will be a mandatory 10 point deduction for each initial case of hooliganism, risings to a further 20 point deduction upon re-occurrence and so on. This would either kill off the clubs with the worst violent elements, or the hooligans would suffer the backlash from genuine supporters and would no longer find it cool to be d***heads.

In the event of cup draws - take the action outlined in paragraph 1.

How can the F.A. sit back knowing there will be serious risk to civilians and real supporters alike when they have the power to intervene. My local area looks like a tornado passed through it! Instead they allow the disturbance to occur, then berate the clubs from their cushy headquarters pretending to be shocked that stuff like this still happens. I prescribe a dose of reality for you champagne ponces.
