The draw for the Emirates FA Cup third round proper will be made on the evening of Monday 2 December 2024, as clubs from the Premier League and EFL Championship join the competition for the 2024-25 season.
The draw will be conducted from Old Trafford, the home of the current holders Manchester United, and be broadcast live on BBC Two and iPlayer from 19:00 GMT as well as our official Emirates FA Cup social media channels.
Kelly Somers will present the draw, with Mark Hughes and Dion Dublin on hand to pick out the team balls.
The 20 ties in the second round are scheduled from the evening of Friday 29 November, through to Sunday 1 December.
And the the victorious sides from the second round will be joined in the draw by the 44 teams from the Premier League and EFL Championship.
Ties in the 2024-25 third round will be played over the weekend of Saturday 11 January, and the schedule will be announced as soon as possible.
