FA cup semis, and the FA

next season will see the semi finals of the FA cup held at wembley, whats that about? 'the road to wembley, then once round the block and back in'?

it seems to be a way for the FA to claw some of the massive losses on the new wembley back as soon as possible at the detriment of the fans and the competition and to all the other finals and winners.

only the FA.

Two ways of looking at this Suits, i'd rather go out of the semi's at Wembley than say Villa park or Old Trafford, makes it SEEM more of an achievment somehow, makes it even more of a big day if you see what i mean, though i agree, it is a money spinner for the FA as well.

the heightened sense of achievement comes from the downgrading of the final being exclusivley wembley.

its not like the fa cup has recently been billed as the road to cardiff.

places like villa are perfect for fans because if its say newcastle vs pompey, then both sets meet in the middle of england.

Like i said, there are two ways of looking at this, again i agree, holding the semi's there diminishes the Final a bit, but you get to play at wembley !! more of a day out than playing at Villa.

Agreed on this. Wembley should be for the final, the big stage, the big day out.

How about coming to a comprimise and using the Millenium Stadium for the semis. Its a great stadium (been there) and would pay the Welsh back for looking after our cup finals for the past couple of years.

And most importantly, keeps Ev happy.
