I'm not convinced by that one, I don't think he's the marquee signing Barca want. There is still the risk of City but I think arsenal and the champs league would have appealed to Mikky more than wads of cash.

If they show even a bit of interest, Mikey will want to go there.
 

Mikel's apparent wish to go back to Spain for personal reasons hardly squares with him moving to Arsenal does it?

If its because he wants to win, he knows he has to see what this Everton side can do when at full steam. I know there abundant optimism but this is the best Everton side in years. Arteta knows it and he knows if Everton do well, it's all good for him. Him leaving now is unfinished business. Moyes has been building for this side and Arteta's been waiting.

If it really is winning, he's staying because it's the best Everton side he's been a part of.
