Failed driving test.

F-ing speeding. :angry: So frustrating as well because was in a derelict warehouse area (no bloody signs) and was going 30 For a while but then cars kept flying past me so to avoid failing under 'not making progess' i stepped up to 35 and failed for it.

Would rather have failed any other way.

Absolutely gutted. Next appointment available... 30th October.

Well take comfort in this:

I failed my theory 1st time round. My excuse is that all my mates told me how easy it was and not to bother reading the book- so I didnt. I got 19 out of 25 when you need to get 20. i retook it and got 25.

Still passed my practical 1st time though. I did have a woman instructor and I was wearing particularly tight shorts that day

Cheers lads. Hasn't half pissed me of failing because of that because I know am good enough, rest of test proved that. A poxy 5 miles over the speed limit in the middle of nowhere, not a person in sight either.

Ah well ay, only a month til round 2.

Don't upset yourself Dan, its not the end of the world lad, stats show that the best drivers pass second or third time. I failed first timke because I ran over the bloke with the red flag walking in front.

Try having a run out with A2B before your next one, independent opinion always helps

Cheers mont I normally take things on the chin but didn't half get pissed of with myself after that. Think its the wait to redeem myself which is the worst part but ah well, as you said its not the end of the world and can keep doing it. I'll drive one day.

Dan, honestly when I took my test I worked in the same building as the test centre in fact our offices shared a staff toilet with those bastards the key to which hung in another office.

The examiner sat with his legs wide apart so every time I changed gear my hand brushed the queers legs. Having asked him politely to move his leg, the vehicle was a mini, to no avail I pulled over and asked him again. This time he moved, with a sulk. He failed me because when I pulled away he claimed that I never looked in my mirrors correctly. The prick wondered why for the next two months he was getting locked in the bog, still a mystery honest!

i got 29 from 35 on my theory first time, and the bastards didnt inform me, i had to phone them, three weeks after and was told 'sorry - someone should have written or phoned you, you didnt pass'. insult to injury, paying for the phone call.

All new drivers always think they are good enough
It is not actually until 6-7 years later that you realise how bad and dangerous and how many risks you took when you had just passed and the year or 3 following.
