Her name is Juliette Ferrington (or @juliette_grace on twitter)Well they are repeating what has already been 'reported' as news.
The journalist who originally tweeted the allegations (can't remember her name) is the only person who knows who made the allegation. She should do the right thing and name her 'source' whether they aked for anonymity or not.
That's my problem with "journalism", you can write crap like "some sources say" or "a source has come forward" without reference to how reliable that source is (if there even is a source...) and people will take it on face value. Her name is Juliette Ferrington (or @juliette_grace on twitter)
Yesterday she tweeted a copy of the official club statement i.e. the press release. She added the following.
1/ EFC’s Board of Directors have been instructed not to attend today’s game against Southampton because of a “real and credible threat to their safety and security". Understand CEO Denise-Barrett Baxendale was physically manhandled by a male fan after the Brighton game.
2/ Also understand the Everton CEO’s car was attacked after the defeat to Brighton as she was inside. Misogynist, sexist and threatening language used towards her. A lot of threats directed at the board have been sent to the club and online.
This is the first mention of a headlock on DBB as far as I can find. All other reports seem to come from this.
So she "understands" that these events occured? even though they are not specifically mentioned in the official press release.
Presumably this means that she is claiming to have been told this by somebody.
As far as I can see she has not tweeted anything since the above. She needs to clarify who it was she spoke to and what led her to "understand" this.

It’s not journalism mate. It’s an extension of business/client PR. Look up the definition of journalism and then see what is written/said and in particular what isn’t.
It’s an insult they label themselves journalists.
Look at Greg O’Keefe, he has been receiving a lot of questions over his “reporting” regarding the CEO yesterday but refuses to answer them.
Smart to throw in some political trigger words there. If i was physically assulted, the last thing i would worry about is which words were said.Misogynist, sexist and threatening language used towards her.
Just think how serious that allegation is coming from our own board.Smart to throw in some political trigger words there. If i was physically assulted, the last thing i would worry about is which words were said.
Either way, im certain its all BS. Even angry football fans wont stand for someone physically attacking a woman.
Actually just read that back and realised that she doesn't mention a headlock, just that DBB was physically manhandled. Her name is Juliette Ferrington (or @juliette_grace on twitter)

And until I see evidence or people coming forward detailing what happened in a stadium of tens of thousands of people with CCTV, phones and other board members in the vicinity, I won't believe a word of it.
it’s all liesActually just read that back and realised that she doesn't mention a headlock, just that DBB was physically manhandled.
Anybody know who it was that first reported the 'headlock'?
Same. Its a vile thing to lie about. Denise might be trash at her current job, but she was excellent when leading the EiC efforts and I think most Evertonians know that. There is no logical reason to attack her - and on top of that, noone saw anything, making it sound like a trashy play Billy K would write more than reality. And until I see evidence or people coming forward detailing what happened in a stadium of tens of thousands of people with CCTV, phones and other board members in the vicinity, I won't believe a word of it.
That's it mate in a nutshell. Thousands of people about whilst a woman is attacked by a bloke. I'd be wading in straight away with most on this forum probably. All of this makes no sense. How did the attacker escape? Manic and a real own goal by Everton. Unfixable situation.Smart to throw in some political trigger words there. If i was physically assulted, the last thing i would worry about is which words were said.

I can't recall anything even remotely similar in any club, in any league where the higher ups in the club LIED about their supporters to put them in a bad light to cover for themselves.Just watched a clip on YT from TalkSport about them discussing the Spurs v Arsenal match, where the Spurs fan kicked Ramsdale.
Presenter said, “we saw this yesterday at Everton with the police ordering the board to stay away for their own safety and there being reports of their CEO being put in a headlock at the last home game”.
This is what the media are running with. Embellishing nonsense that the police are involved (they blatantly aren’t), and not clarifying that at present there is zero evidence of any assault on DBB.
Cheers Kenwright you absolute flute.
