Think Family Guy on BBCThree is a bit repetitive though.

american dad definitely, it reminds of family guy's roots where the show actually had a cohesive plot, it wasn't merely a random assortment of miscellaneous jokes. american dad has the same randomness and hilarity, but its for the most part situational.
interesting side note, the town in the show Langley Falls is a combination between the two real towns Great Falls and Langley, which are both about 20 minutes from my house.

Neither really , Moderator man . Seen the first . It was OK . Small doses , etc .
Havent caught the second one , and my life doesnt seem empty as a result .
Being highbrow for a second , the whole genre of animation is due a post Simpsons Hiroshima .
That which were the Simpsons themselves . Now , its just variations on the same theme . Though , admittedly , I havent seen American Dad , but expect it ticks all the Springfield boxes .

hmm i would have expected american dad to be way more popular overseas, as it incessantly pokes fun at the absurdity of american culture, which i know you lot love to do
then again maybe you need to be exposed to american culture more often to truly appreciate the humor
