Fellas,
I run a veterans team during the summer. Most of the guys are aged between 35 and 51.
I do have a couple of trainee veterans on stand by incase I get short for a game.
We are not in a league or anything, we just play summer friendlies against whoever fancies a game. Not always other vets teams, sometimes companies and organisations.
We wear a navy blue england kit, shirts, shorts and socks.
I was thinking that maybe Grand Old Team could knock a team together, or perhaps some of you have or know a team that wants a friendly?
We are based near Bury and could do home, away or both! Usually play on astroturf.
Anyway, if you are interested, drop me a message and we can see if we can sort something out.

PS For those who remember, I have nearly recovered from my ruptured ankle ligaments and feel ready for a *run* out.
You may substitute the word run for jog, or possibly walk.
