Oh God, I dread Moshiri going on TalkSpot - flashbacks of "McCarthy is part of the family".

To be honest, I suspect if he was part of the inner-circle, he'd be cashing in like the Top 6 owners are too.

Should be an immense statue of Farhad on the pierhead. He should be crowned with laurels and hold a scroll. And on that scroll, these deathless words inscribed for people of the coming years:
"I am Farhad. Sniff it you kopite rats."

If I remember rightly, we were invited by the Royalty last year to the"Big Picture" venture and we turned it down. Looks like Moshiri has morale fibre, unlike some other owners we know.

Lets have this right, once Moshiri spoke up the writing was on the wall for this, he got the ball rolling, once this is dead in the water he gets ALL the credit!!
You should be totally correct, but....Captain courageous, the Socialist champion of champions, Henderson, his threat of a captain's meeting, will by tomorrow have made it all crumble, I kid you not.

Mosh man was right though even if the all do what Chelsea and City have done they should still be punished. How that looks I don't know but a points deduction for thr start of the season I feel would be good enough

I hate that this is on my mind. But I have to ask - do we believe him when he says we’d never join? Do we think that if we would have been invited to this, that Moshiri really would have said no? I don’t know the answer, but I think it’s worth considering. It’s easy for all of us supporters outside the Silly Six to point our fingers, but how many of our clubs would have done the same thing given the chance?
Everton declined involvement in 2019 to The Big Picture, and were critical on the record. The club statement yesterday and Moshiri's subsequent interview leave no room for doubt, unless you're a complete cynic, a kopite shitehawk who sees no good in Everton, or the board are similar snakes to Woodward and his bosses the Glazers, Henry/FSG, Kroenke, Agnelli etc.

I think you're wrong and do him a disservice. He's an oddball, certainly not skilled in PR (he's an accountant for God's sake) but I think he spoke truthfully and the board are 100% aligned.

He's also a billionaire, whose longstanding business partner is an Russian oligarch. Don't let the media gaffs fool you - he is commercially astute and will follow the cash and defend his business interests as and when required.

I’d love to know whether the Everton board was actually approached - I’ve not see this question asked.
and before someone says why would we.... well look at who is backing us...
I doubt we were approached. Because it would have been used as an amazing PR master stroke (and rightly so) if we had been invited and declined.

I personally believe that our class would have rubbed off on him and he wouldn't join. However I don't think we've been asked to join so I think we should keep quiet and get on with the job at hand which is to play footie and play it well.
