We'll be linked with more and better quality players than we would otherwise have been, maybe not immediately, but certainly in the near future.

yeah, the gap between city and the top was much larger than where we are now and the current state of the prem. They had to spend loads under the previous owner on stuff like benjani and bianchi before getting to where they are today. If we're looking at it from an on-field perspective, we only need about 3 first team players and a couple of squad fillers to be in that top 4. The top 2 are leicester and spurs ffs! this is possibly spurs' weakest squad in about 6 or 7 years as well. a bit more investment than what we've been getting could set up us brilliantly, although of course with the TV money, the league will grow in strength. But at this point in time, i'm seeing the benches of the big money teams like city, chelsea, united and the RS and they're all attrocious, to be fair, ours looks better even at this point in time.

if we start looking at the off field issues, this is an even better deal. I just wanted a proper businessman/woman. We have shocking sponsorship deals and a massive room for improvement in that aspect. That's what we need to properly compete near the top on a regular basis. I've thought for a while we were a great opportunity for a massive ROI, good to finally see someone take the plunge. It will take time, but it's not too far-fetched to believe we can't see almost immediate results on the pitch domestically. Where would we be this season if it weren't for howard, for example?

Bucket of cold water incoming...............Given the announcements and rumours of the last 24 hours, Kenwright sold Earl and signed Moshiri and made him captain. Bill is still the manager and he has made a quite remarkable recovery healthwise. We might get a bit more money a bit further down the line. And we're all doing handstands?

You really believe someone who has agreed to invest so much into the club will allow kenwright and go to carry on running the club the why it is? Kenwright will be a celebrity chairman and nothing more

wheres the arteta money bill??!!

hopefully we wont have to be asking these sorts of questions ever again.

I'm just happy to see us moving on from the current board.

with moshri having 49.9% shareholding he WILL have the say on the board. we are now being driven by Moshri but seemingly steered by BK.

this can only be good for us.

love the way we still all slightly dred the situation too!

kenwright has a minute amount of shares, and is still very ill.

His chairman role is to one, help out Moshiri until he brings in his own people, and two as a gesture of good will.

Yep but unfortunately some still don't see it like that and think it's some strange evil plan of his
all moshiri has to do is get some smaller shareholders on his side, or even purchase some small shares and he's the big boss anyway. He's literally just being respectful.

I still expect usmanov to have some part to play in the next few months, though.
