A big hello to the RAWK readers lurking, obsessing over us, despite the Mickey Mouse Cup Final they're playing in today.:bye:

A few points for you lurking Kopites:

- It is a takeover, given the very fragmented nature of Everton's shareholding.
- Every single Evertonian knows our commercial activity is crap. We are not oblivious to this. This will almost certainly now change.
- We've been knocking on the door of the top 4 for most of the last 12 years, during a time when our majority shareholder was 43 times poorer than the new majority shareholder.
- Money does not equate success (you are the living breathing proof of that, the amount of money you've wasted and continue to waste, for your past 26 title-less years).
- Money does give you a fighting chance of competing though, which is what we will now do.
- Don't feel threatened, we're just reclaiming our natural place as Merseyside's top (and richest) club.
- Enjoy your new stand and your Jurgen Klopp masks.

Anyone think Usmanov will follow?

It could be a possibility if he continues to be frozen out at the Arse.

Could also be one of those rich mans silly wagers where they were both drunk at the xmas party and decided to have a laugh - you go and get Everton - Ill stick with the Gooners and whoever finishes lower in the league each year has to buy the other one xmas dinner - your on !

Shut up Dave, we have a very successful businessman with friends who own nukes.

What can possibly go wrong?

Embrace it.
This feller's arrival drags us into a whole new world of plutonium poisoning and newspaper reporter homicides. I hope the Echo lads are sitting up and taking notice.

i think regarding the usmanov thing.

It is very possible he could follow, if you judge on their past business ventures it is very rare where one goes, the other does not follow.

That is not to say Moshiri might have not fancied breaking away from the mould, and attempting to forge his own career but at a club that will require a lot of investment and work on i do believe it is unlikely usmanov will not be involved at some point.

Both of them as a joint alliance have been attempting to purchase arsenal outright for years, it is very plausible to assume they have given up and decided to do what they had planned with a new club, i.e us.

It has been years of trying to do something with arsenal and it just hasn't come off because of their other owners, here it will be much easier for them BOTH to implement things they would like and everton really do have a lot of things going for us, we could become a very good business venture and project.

Like i said it is not certain that Usmanov will join his friend, but judging by the past it is very likely that it could happen, and it just gives Usmanov time to sell his shares to the best bidder at Arsenal, Whilst still having insight into everton with Moshiri running things until Usmanov can come on board.

All guess work, though but i wouldn't be surprised, at all.
