No you dont really. You pay for a service. Money in exchange for entertainment.
Not that we always provide that of course.
Sadly your ticket money means nothing these days.
I dont agree with it by the way, its just how it is.
oh by the way, if the ticket money means nothing, how come they still charge (over the odds by the way) to get in.
You are a bit behind the times mate, ST. Prices are pretty good now.oh by the way, if the ticket money means nothing, how come they still charge (over the odds by the way) to get in.

They don't. Our season ticket prices are some of the best priced in the country.
I think the price freezes and reductions over the last few years have shown that;
1- The importance of gate receipts is far less now.
2- The club values the supporters greatly. And while they still have a business to run, they won't treat us as cash cows in the same way Arsenal or Liverpool do.[/

Yes that's right they're not bad. but I got
Oh well if that's the case they can half the ticket prices form £35.00 to £17.50 for all. £35.00 per ticket is probably 1/10th of the average mans wage, not exactly cheap is it. Especially if he has to take a couple of kids as well.
Where not all loaded - mate
Christ, bet you're a hoot at parties. And by the way all the clubs raised the ticket prices to extortionate rates many years ago and now most are playing the price freeze card
so they don't kill the golden goose.
We have all been paying through the nose for years.
And don't come out with the you don't have to go malarkey
Christ, bet you're a hoot at parties.
Hahahaha!I hate parties, other people go there

Nobody even slightly suggested that we were all loaded.
If you pay on the 12 month plan its about £45 a month for a season ticket. Which is nowhere near 10% of the average wage, but around 3% maybe? Kids season tickets are £95 which is very reasonable too.
It's not exactly cheap no. But compare it to what you'd pay for concerts, or rugby tickets, or even Championship football it's incredibly reasonable.
If it hadn't have been for reductions/freezes over the last few years I would certainly have been frozen out myself. So i'm grateful to Everton for the direction they've headed in. Hope it continues.
I understand the season ticket bit.
However, some people can only go to say for instance 5 games a year so therefore they have to pay the full ticket price.
if you factor in a couple of kids and all done that is probably getting onto a £100.00 per game
I understand Everton have looked after the fans, however my point is that all clubs stretched their admission prices many years ago to near breaking point and that coupled with the recession could have burst the bubble.
They realised this and starting introducing the price freeze. They have already done the damage to the fans previously and now
want you to believe that they are doing you a big favour.
You don't go to rugby or concerts every other week, or at least I don't and my above prices don't factor in away games
Long may Everton continue with their ticket policy by the way, but I still don't think its cheap to go to the game.
I also still don't don't think you will get a lot of fans arguing against a price ticket reduction also.
Can't argue with that, but I think that was a problem with football in general rather than Everton.
Anyway we are losing track here I think haha...
