Please Farhad open your eyes to the utter balloons at the club that are consistently pishing your money up the wall:

Klaassan: £24 million
Tosun: £27 million
Schneirderlin: £24 million
Keane: £30 million

4 players who have been a shambles all season who we'll be lucky to get half of that cash back.

Please sack Walsh and Sam soon as the season is up or I wont be attending GP next season.
Harsh on Tosun that, he's barely had his boots on.

I agree although if fat boy doesnt rate him over Niasse and DCL after bemoaming a lack of firepower its fair to say there's a very likely chance he's gash when you factor in both his and Walsh's track record at signings.

Please don't let any decisions from the fat man sway your mind.

He has just moved from another country, learning new environments, team-mates and a lack of tactics, so no wonder he hasn't settled immediately.

Not Moshiris fault. We were all happy with the Koeman appointment but it didn’t work. That’s where the rot set in ! Mosh sacked him ! Money is available for players as he promised but we can’t find them. Steve Walsh is just stealing a living from the club and fat Sam is out of his depth. Think Sam and his whole team could get booted out here and we need to start again with a whole new management team - and I mean get rid of everybody currently involved except Rhino who is doing a good job ... mosh knows all this and in my opinion will act for the good of the club !
*puts hand up.

Not me

I actually think if Koeman had a decent DOF instead of Walsh he could have had a decent tenure at us.

Walsh/Kenwright signed/cocked about all summer on deals and the squad was lopsided. Koeman didnt exactly help the situation and had to go... but I said all along Walsh should have gone with him as they should have been made jointly responsible.

Walsh has gotten away with murder.

He was hopeless. He was behind the Schneiderelin, Bolasie, Klaassen, Sigurdsson signings at the very least.

He certainly wasnt as good as what he shown at Southampton however I do think he would have been good enough to at the least consolidate 7th for us with the right signings - something that looks a mile off with the current clown in charge.

What's essential is Sam and Walsh have to go in the summer.

But how?????????
I can answer WHY.

Moshiri is out of his depth and only here for the stadium

The HOW is a bit harder
He said on day one (gist) that Kenwright knows so much about football and he is his 'go to' man.
Kenwright has for 18yrs...and remember he was on the board before that...somehow manage to both flirt with and avoid disaster...based on Smiths recommendation of Moyes

In comes Stadium Man Moshiri

Who left a serial mediocrity borderline failure in charge.
But this proven failure now has another serial incompetant panic merchant over him
Bill, like Moshiri, has his day job to do so the CEO is there.
There were reasons, not addressed at the time, which don't seem to have gone away and have probably got worse, why a respected football CEO left after 6 weeks
Add in Wyness, Elstone and any other total nonentity who had the job.

Anyway, long story short...it all stops on Moshiri's desk - or should.
Until HE wakes up to the fact that neither He, nor those below him he left in charge and/or appointed...yeah you Walshy you tosser, know 'Kall, Nothing will change

(Don't we have a thread for this?)

Out in the real world there are plenty of business men who dont have a clue, but keep on...well just keeping on, get the beamer, the 4x4 for the missus, flash house, school fees for the kids etc...because hey everybody needs JCBs or Scaffolding or Bread or what ever. They then either don't grow the business or try and then fail.

The odd few who actually know instinctively get really lucky (not going to happen with Everton, now is it)
The other rarer odd few get in somebody who knows how businesses work... not so much work as what causes them to fail...

There are 2 reasons you get Consultants in.
1) to tell you what you already know but havent got the bottle to implement...you can then blame the consultants...Sorry lads half of you have to go just to keep us going, its not me its all in here *waves report

Or in our case number 2) Because you haven't a 'kin clue.

So until Moshiri wakes up to the fact, not only does he not have a clue, but neither do half, or more, of the people below him
Then this is it.

Over to you Moshiri.

Root and branch clear out is needed
Kenwright
Woods
Elstone
Walsh ( or keep as a scout , he has picked up some good young lads )
FSA and his crew.
A new CEO with experience of getting big builds done on time and budget to concentrate on stadium only ma new CEO to run the football club
A new commercial director
A top DOF and a young hungry forward thinking manager who wants to stay for 5/6 yrs at least.
Give the last 2 the time and money to get the job done.
We are 4 players away from 5/6 place and maybe 4/5 yrs from competing regularly for top 4

Over to you Moshiri.

Hi mate, as he is the principal share owner and de facto the owner you are right. The hiring of management staff, does fall on his shoulders but also on the other shareholders but he does have the final say.

But when it comes to signing players he has to in the absence of indepth knowledge rely on the management staff. He has to take note of them, bowing to their superior know how on players and pay up according to their advice. However he has absolutely no say in team selection or tactics. The failures on the pitch are thus not to be laid at his door. There is only 3 people to blame for the abysaml showings on the pitch - Allardyce, Lee and Shapespear.

Now back to the other item, I am one of those who thinks he is here for the long term and not a quick buck. It has been pointed out in other posts the inherent difficulty of selling if the club has a debt the size of which has been the subject of great debate. So when you talk of binning Mosh off, you mean all the other principal shareholders as well, for that to happen some one has to come and buy. It is not going to happen for some years if ever. That is my view, it does not meet up with your's exactly but so be it, we are all entitled to have our opinion.

You are right mate as was Biffo (avatar) but it will not be an overnight job. As regards BK, Woods and is it Abercrombie they will only go when Mosh exercises his option to but them out. As for the others then it is upto Mosh to get stuck in apart from buying players that has to be down to the manager just hope it is not BFS.

The issue for me is that Moshiri can only put money in for so long. Under FFP and the premier league's own version of fair play owners are only permitted to cover pretty small losses. The way Football accounting works through the amortisation of players values means that selling a Lukaku allows you to invest large amounts in your squad in the short term.

Lukaku's value will of been reduced to a small amount on the books meaning that we could invest a large amount because transfer fees are amortised over the length of a new players contract.

The thing is it is the Club that has to fund those amortisation payments year in year out. Any sponsorship deals such as the USM Finch Farm deal will be scrutinised by UEFA and have to meet the 'fair value' criteria.

What usually happens is that a wealthy investor like an Abramovich or Mansoor comes in and uses the short initial window they have to invest heavily in the Club. If it goes well then like City or Chelsea then results improve hugely which results in more prize money, Champions League participation, bigger crowds, bigger commercial deals.

However it can go the other way not so long ago Aston Villa had one of the biggest Net spends in European Football, indeed over the last 5 seasons they have had a Net spend of £82m which is more than half the Premier League. The problem is that if things don't improve financially then owners become powerless to invest in their Club.

Look at QPR they were owned by 3 Billionaires but ended up breaching fair play rules and facing a £40m fine because the investment didn't result in the Club growing. Everton have sold the family silver and invested it in a horrific way. We have pissed away millions in compensating managers and we are in real danger of getting into a downward spiral.

We could end up in a situation were we have to sell players year in year out just to meet our financial commitments with Moshiri powerless to intervene. As a fan base we need to get out of this feeling of invincibility that Moshiri's money has brought about because the Championship is littered with Clubs owned by millionaires and billionaires.
