The company's customer service is a joke. They can't even track their packages and it's 2020.

Who even knows how much they're paying us now. It was a measly 3 million a season under the original agreement and it didn't sound like we got much more for the renewal because they didn't announce any figures.

We took that deal on because Wyness made massive losses running the merchandising in house and we have had over ten years to get our act together on that front but neither Elstone nor DBB appear to have had the appetite for it.

Sasha is responsible for that renewal but she's signed off on it.
We renew it cos its beneficial to the club mate.

We get a lump sum every year and we don't have to bother with selling shirts.

As far as I'm aware most clubs in the league outsource their gear.

We took the deal on because Wyness made a mess of it and we made a loss for a few years running so guaranteed revenue was a big positive.

We've never attempted to do it in-house since so who knows if we could be making more from it than what Kitbag, or Fanatics now, pay us.

I've heard the complaints from the local fans about the availability of the kits across the UK and it's even worse overseas, especially when they lose your package for 3 months and can't even tell you where it is because they don't track them. I won't be buying anything Everton-related until they're gone and I can have some faith that what I've paid for will actually show up.

Not allow the Kitbag renewal deal to go through is a big one for me.

I won't give them a penny ever again.
You think they didn’t go to market to get other bids for the business mate?

The fact you personally don’t rate their customer service, doesn’t mean that the deal we have with them was a failure of the CEO.

You wont be buying anything, nobody buys anything, that's my point mate.

I was previously.

I will say that I've just gone over the last set of accounts and we actually did well last year getting more sponsorship revenue in so I will give DBB and Sasha credit for that.

A 9 million increase over the year before. I wonder how much of that breaks down between USM and the new Fanatics deal.

It's not the only reason. The deal was originally 3 million per year for 10 years which compared to us losing money under an incompetent Wyness was good but I feel like if we had a capable CEO instead of Elstone we could have done better than that. I was disappointed when we renewed and didn't bother.

At most I'd say we've doubled what we were getting previously but it's all a guessing game because for some reason the club haven't published the length or the value of the agreement anywhere.

Any clubs in particular you know of besides us?
The long-term deal sees Everton positioned among some of the world’s largest sporting organisations, with Fanatics also being a key partner of the NFL, NBA, The Ryder Cup, England Rugby and several top football clubs in the Premier League and across Europe such as Real Madrid, Borussia Dortmund and Atletico Madrid.

Manchester United and City.

We discussing the kitbag deal are we.

Hazy days for the blues that, banks forced us to sign that deal... they needed a guaranteed income or they was pulling the plug.

Elstone got a lot of stick during his time here but that one wasn’t on him, it was on William.
