Which shows you no nothing because record losses have nothing to do with the commercial side of the club.

They are to do with us spending CL money (generously given by Mr Moshiri which YOU wanted him to spend) but having no CL revenue to balance the books.

Thats ultimately a failure of recruitment by the DOF/recruitment teams going as far back to Walsh. Said department ultimately is overseen by the Chairman who is Bill Kenwright not Farhad Moshiri.
Lol, when did I want us to spend CL money, precisely? You just make things up when you get flustered.

Which is correct - If Everton spent a few bob like Southampton and Brighton and not £100 million like a CL club we wouldn't have record losses therefore it has nothing to do with the clubs commerical element unless you believe we should be attaining sponsership deals on the levels of CL clubs like Liverpool and Man Utd?

Stick to being a know it all who actually knows less than noddy lol
What???

You literally haven’t got a clue have you? It’s almost embarrassing to this point, no wonder everyone is buzzing off you.

Southampton and Brighton spend within their means from their commercial deals; they don’t magically grow money on trees.

Farhad Moshiri has sanctioned the spend and witnessed the accounts many times over and allowed the club to spend beyond its means for the last 5 years.

Will a drawing help you understand??

Point 1. Clubs like Southampton and Brighton are happy to finish 17th every season hence why they spend within their "means". Our fans would be holding marches down Goodison Road if we spent £20 million a season we hounded Kenwright out for over a decade because of that !!!

Point 2. No one is arguing that he hasn't sanctioned the spend - same way Shiekh Mansour and Roman Abramovich sanctioned heavy spends themselves in which both of those clubs also posted heavy losses at the beginning before they became CL clubs.

We should have become a CL club with the money we have spent but we haven't and now we're paying the price. That failure is down to the people who spent money on players ultimately not good enough.

You can spin it whatever way you want to try be edgy on the internet but thats the truth. If Everton signed Salah instead of Bolasie, Kante instead of Schneiderlin, Soucek instead of Delph we wouldn't be 18th in the table regardless of the owner.

We didn't sign those players though, Moshiri sanctioned the signings of a load of dossers and extended the contract of the man who signed them. Which is why we're 18th in the table. He's a Muppet.

Moshiri isnt a football man - do you think he knows how good a player is?

No but Kenwright does.

So maybe blame the Chairman who could have actually done his job and said "erghh yano lads maybe signing Bolasie isn't a good idea yano".

Thats literally his job as chairman!

But they don’t finish 17th every season? In fact spending within their means has allowed the club to actually improve incrementally on the field to the point where they’re miles ahead of us and getting better every year. Shock horror, clubs that are run well are doing better than a club that is run abysmally.

Brighton finished 16th last season and are currently around 10th.

Southampton haven't finished top half since we nabbed Koeman.

Our fans would not accept an ownership model of minimal spending and finishing midtable like their fanbases do who are happy to just be in the PL from now until 2050 never challenging for anything.

We finished top 6/7 under Moyes regularly yet still demanded Kenwright leave so we could attract someone with pockets deep enough to push us into the top 4.

Doesn’t matter, they’re both improving and we’re hurtling backwards. I know which position I’d rather be in, the fact they don’t pay players like Andre Gomes £100k a week is only a positive and not at all a sign of a lack of ambition.

There’s more to running a football club than just throwing a load of money around and signing loads of blank cheques. None of us asked for the reckless and irresponsible ownership that is driving us into the Championship with an unsustainable wage bill. Many of us expressed concern as early as summer 2016 when we saw players like Yannick Bolasie being signed for £28m. The warning signs were there from the beginning.

Jesus Christ.

Literally everything you have said above is arguing the case for Moshiri being clueless biff, but you think its defence of him.

And the best part is, you can't see it

I agree, but the pool of owners who would satisfy this fanbase is very low.

Shiekh Mansour
QIA (PSG)
Leicesters owners
Roman Abramovich

Those 4 aside we wouldn't be happy with anyone else.

Clubs like Brighton look to be improving but they bobble up and down as does every club outside of the scab 6.

Leeds finished top half last season with fans raving over Bielsa - 12 months on Biesla is sacked and they are 16th.

Palace are having a good season but are currently lower in the table than Everton were last season in which our fans weren't happy with 10th.

Sheffield Utd - top half one season relegated the next.

The money we have spent we shouldn't be in this position and thats not all on Moshiri far from it. And if he does sell up who's coming in realistically thats going to have us challenging for the top 7 + trophies whilst backing the manager with good levels of funds and being a genius in terms of running the club?

For me its a very unlikely pipe dream that we'll get all the above and be happy. Much more likely statistically to be taken over by another Moshiri/Lerner/Short type, a Lewis/Ashley/Green shady British owner type or a Glazer/Kroenke/Burnley US leveraged buy out Type.
