whats your favourite everton game that you have been at?

i've only been to 12 games. 2 games automatically spring to mind.

v fiorentina - what a game, what an atmosphere!!

v liverpool - cadamarteri and ruddock og tremendous!!

My one and only game at Goodison.

Spurs on Good Friday, '04.

We win 3-1 with Naysmith, Yobo, and Unsworth scoring.

Everton V Watford, FA cup final, Wembley 84. I was 10

Went with my Dad and Grandad. First time I had ever been to Wembley, not the last either.

Fiorentina at Home.
Arsenal 1-0 at home.
Arsenal (carling Cup) 0-1 at home.
Fulham 3 -1 Home (great goals)

Fortuna Sittard vs Everton in the ECWC back in 1985. My love affair with Everton really kick started that day.:)(y)

Everton vs Manchester United, back in 1995 I believe it was. Everton ran out winners by that unforgettable Duncan Ferguson header. Shirt went out and waving over his head.

Have to say two of the very few times I witnessed an Everton win in the flesh. Starting to think I'm a bad omen to EFC:(

Everton V Bayern Munich.

Oh what a night.

the best for me too vim, legendary.(y) when you look at the team that bayern had as well it makes it even more special, these were world stars we beat.
the day we won the league against qpr was fantastic as well, but more a day when a job was completed in a party atmosphere.

For me it was back in the 60s we Fielded a weakened team at Anfield ,and I was dreading the game and would have taken a draw if offered then Derek Temple cracked in the first and we romped home 4-0 I was jumping up and down on the Kop when Moggsy smashed home the fourth.I have been to all our finals since 66 and saw all championships from 62 but that match will always stand out(y)

Arsenal, Man Utd and Forest at GP 1984/5
Sunderland at GP 1984/5 Trevor Steven was utter class that day (skill tatooed on his bollocks as the old guy next to me said - I was only 14 and thought he meant it !)
Sunderland home last year as well (live in Ireland now so only game I managed last year - good choice)
FA Cup 1985 v Ipswich at GP 2-2 very tense game (Harry Catterick passed away at the ground that day - I remember the paramedics at full time on the flat roof below the main stand)
FA Cup Final v Man Utd 1995 - just so unexpected, after having a start to the season a bit like this one.

Being a follower in the 80s I've got my pick and am tempted to put something cool like the Munich game or the Vienna final in Rotterdam. But I remember one game against Watford away (not the FA cup final) that ended 4-4. I just loved that day and it was a great match. It was goal after goal, equalizer after equalizer. It's what football is about. (y)

was that the one where big nev caught the ball on the line and froze so the ref could look at it, and then he gave a goal(n)

Hmmm, so many to choose from...

Beating WBA 2-0 in 1970 to win the league - Harvey cracked in a blinder that night.

Or 1966?

Or against Liverpool in the 5th round of the cup in 1967. Seemed like the whole city was on tenterhooks that night. The biggest crowd I ever saw at GP - I think it was 64000. Another rarity for me was standing on the old Goodison Road terrace, under the old stand - only time I ever stood there as I was a Glwadys Street regular.

Those three games made the happiest days of my childhood and I'm misty eyed now, thinking of them.

Rotterdam? Bayern? Maybe.

No, the game I enjoyed the most was the away fixture at Spurs in 1985. The place was packed with blues - I felt really squashed and truly unsafe. But didn't give a monkey's.

Seemed throughout that game (with three brilliant goals and the save of the century by Nev) that we were always going to win.

Headline the next day: everton take giant step towards title.

Happy days which will return, I'm sure of it.

Mind you, I also thought I'd be a millionaire by now and look at how that turned out...:dodgy:

the turner game vs blackburn. tense? the volume of anger in the atmosphere was actually intimidating - and i wasnt one of the plebs it was aimed at.
