Vangelis - the Blade Runner soundtrack.
Gregorian - German band that do covers of songs Gregorian chant stylee.
Echo and the Bunnymen - Ocean Rain.

Back in 1972 it was Imagine by John Lennon. That's the last time I was stoned on a regular basis.
The Israelites by Desmond Decker reminds me of being stoned.

I don't get stoned (or at least not for a very, very long time) but if I had to chose something it would probably be Moon Safari by Air.
..I much prefer a ‘songs on shuffle’ listen than an album.

It always goes wrong though. I pop shuffle on in the car and don't have a switchy thing to skip tracks (yet can alter the volume weirdly enough) and can guarantee that the least suitable song always comes on at the worst possible time.
Putting shuffle on whilst getting stoned and then Pantera or something blasts out would not be ideal.
