Which is your favourite area of Goodison to watch the game? In terms of best view, I'd say Upper Bullens, in terms of atmosphere, back of Lower Gwladys, in the centre is fantastic for a big game.

gwladys street, can’t beat standing at the game and actually having a good bit of atmosphere

the view infront of the posts is great too

could be argued the park end is the best view as you see the three proper stands and don’t have to look at the soulless park end, plus no pillars

upper bullens probably best for seeing whole game

Love the view from the upper Bullens. Even at the very back you`re at a nice height and not too far back from the pitch. Use to sit in the top balcony for years and liked the view from there, but it was hard work getting up and down from there, especially when the escalators were having a day off.

The 8 year old me started off in the Upper Bullens where my Dad had a season ticket, and from where we watched us win the league in 1970, so I suppose that will always be my favourite! The only part of the ground I have never stood/sat in was upstairs in the “old” Park End!
Favourite for atmosphere - middle of the Gwladys Street, where I got my own season ticket from late 70’ through to mid 80’s, but the Upper Bullens is where it all started!

Going to the match with my Dad when I was a kid and listening to the screams of people as they bit into a meat pie and the hotter than the sun jelly squirted out and burnt their gums, chin and fingers as they performed a juggling act so as not to lose the pie. That and the smell of Higsons brown ale and piss... everywhere.

The match was usually OK too but the above were my favourite parts.

To be fair, that photo is taken from the upper concourse at the back of the Street End. The blue iron/steel in the foreground would be the back of the last seat.

I love my seat in the Street End and the atmosphere and camaraderie is unmatched in the ground.
