On the one hand I am very happy that we made it to the final. I expect us to be a tough opponent for Cheat$ki.

On the other hand I am extremely annoyed by Fergusons attitude towards our team, I mean who does he think we are by playing with a reserve team full of school boys.

Did he really think we are a pub team and that he can easily get a ticket to the final by leaving Rooney, Van der Saar, Scholes, Giggs, Neville, even that prick Ronaldo on the bench starting with a team mainly consiting of 17-19 year old kids ?

I think he now got what he deserved and maybe will think twice about his attitude next time when playing a tough team like Everton.

Enough said.

Behave. Rooney and Carrick were injured. Van der sar has been dropped fairly often recently in favour of Ben Foster who they see as their near future number one.

His squad still included Ferdinand (£30m), Vidic (£7m), Berbatov, (£30m), Tevez (£30m to buy?), Anderson (£15/20m...)

Their "youngsters" have played a played a part in their season. Fabio had played in some other big games, like against Arsenal, That Danny Welbeck has scored two in earlier rounds of the FA Cup....

he did say that Rafael was arrogant calling us a small team because he believes we are tough opposition. Also he has realised that the last 2 times he put out a full strength squad against us he scraped a draw and a 1-nil victory due to a dodgy penalty, i dont believe he put that squad out out of arrogance, he just wanted to give some of the youngsters some big match experience. If he'd won he would've been praised, this is how he made the team of all the man utd youth in the early 90s (scholes, giggs and beckham etc)

You are way off the mark mate many ABUs out in Austria are there ?

I wouldnt exactly call the team Fergie put out as kids

Our last three games

Porto
Everton
Portsmouth

We could not afford to lose to Porto ( Out of CL) or drop points in the Portsmouth game ( Advantage to **********)

Fergie has had to prioritise his squad ( I am sure Moysey would do exactly the same in his position )

Fergie was heavily criticised last year for playing a 'weakened team' against Chelsea who beat us we went on to play a full strength squad the following midweek and beat Barcelona

The rest is History

I rest my case

Anyway good result for you last night saw the highlights when I got back from the match thought you had the better chances nice dress rehearsal for the cup(y)

Totally agree with that, Nev. Moyes would have done the same under the circumstances. Given that United are fighting for the two biggest competitions, it is not surprising that SAF chose to prioritize.

Posted via Mobile Device he thought the side he put out was good enough - he was wrong - nuff said

at the same time, i was a little bit dissapointed about the selections against chelsea. i'm all for resting some of our big players, but i do believe that if james vaughan had been there to run on to pienaars ball going forward a couple times, he would have had a great chance of scoring. a draw was a good result, but moyes is the type of manager that dares to dream, and i wish we had seen that side of him this past midweek.

Are you trying to minor our role?!?

If SAF put a weakened team, think that we couldn't beat them over the open play!!!!

I think that team wasn't bad at all. And Utd could not cope with such a congestioned fixture at this time of the season.
