I heard this from St Helens.
Back in the early 90s, I actually went into one of the cooling towers at Fiddlers Ferry while it was not in use.
The sound of his warning horn made me laugh out loud. What a character he was.
He would go and have five pints at lunch and then climb a chimney, sit across the top and use a lump hammer to knock away the bricks close to him.
