i was just reading here that the new fifa09 (out october) has a 10 vs 10 online mode.

if anyone has a 360 and is getting the game , i was wondering if anyone is interested in making a grand old team , erm , team ?

it would be nice if we can get 2 teams for a sunday morning virtual kick around , or even challenging other websites ie , G.O.T XI vs bluekipperXI or nsno Xi.

and we're playing 4-5-1 tough luck lads.

Count me in, we should get a red [Poor language removed] team to play against.

it would be nice for g.o.t to be fifa kings of the everton forums.(y)

apparently the keeper is computer controlled but all of the outfeild players are controlled seperatly by 10 different people.

im hoping one of our mods would be captain and choose the team (or teams) from our squad list .(should be a sticky sign up thread perhaps)

im sure if we put some messages on other forums that we are intrested in a
' inter forum toffee tournament 'they would be up for it.
 

the release date is october the 3rd btw.

so that gives us 4 weeks to find a grand old team squad.

i think it will be fun.

ps i said sunday mornings , but perhaps a non football day would be best - like 7pm tuesday or friday evening.....thinking about it , we would have to get a few views on what would be the best match time for the majority.

The demo in the US is coming out September 11th. I'm a FIFA 08 fanatic and I think I'm the only one to have played 600+ games with Everton on FIFA 08. I feel so satisfied when I beat the [Poor language removed] online and Barca,ManU and other 5 star teams. Its even funnier when people ask me "who the [Poor language removed] are you playing with"

I hope my transition from FIFA 08 to FIFA 09 will come smoothly because I'm pretty damn good at FIFA 08. My gamertag is jorgeblazer

dead format ???? lololololol - have you seen how many people play cod4 daily on there ?

ps3 is a more powerful machine , yes , but 99 % of my gaming online is played on my 360.(i played my ps3 so little i leant it to my bro ages ago and havent missed it 1 bit).360 is still romping ps3 in hardware and software sales too.

also i bet my bottom dollar 10 vs 10 online is more secure on a 360 than a playstation. the playstation connection will drop out constantly where as the 360 'paid for' bandwidth wont .........as much .

i still think the ps3 is atleast a year away from even coming close to competeing with the 360.(wii outsell's both 3-1 btw)

glad to see a few of us are interested though.

a few more and we have a team.(y)

perhaps we could get 360 ,ps3 and pc teams going.

This is an arguement you can't win uknightbreed, no matter how many times I've argued the toss for the 360 it gets put out because the PS3 has so many great exclusive titles on it....like Call of Duty 3 and Lost Planet a whole year after the 360 released it.
