There's a video in this link from the Cologne FIFA press conference which runs over the new features.

I was wondering, for those of us who play FIFA how much do you expect the Everton players to have improved since 09?

I can see the likes of Yakubu, Saha, Yobo, Cahill, Arteta etc staying pretty much the same, ie from 78/100 to about 83/100...

But i'm expecting Fellaini and Rodwell to be massively improved, they both had 74, 75/100.

I also think Joleon will improve, go from about 82/100 to about 85/100.

Looking forward to getting it :)

I have been a Pro Evo man recently but the last one was quite poor compared to Fifa 09. Think i might change this season.

Big decision though

I very much doubt Goodison will be in it. The closest thing will be the generic stadium, 'Ivy Lane' which I got bored of in 09.

However there is a feature in FIFA 10 where in Manager Mode you can chose where you play your home matches, which is nice.

With regards to Pro Evo, I have had a lot of respect for the games in the past, particularly the variety of goals and passing, but it has become far too 'arcady' for the want of a better word.

I was expecting a lot from PES 09 and found it to be very bland.

Having said that I've always been loyal to FIFA and although some features on 09 frustrated the hell out of me, I'm hoping it's improved in the latest one.

I'd recommend renting both and seeing which one you prefer.

I couldn't live without proper licensing and a manager mode so it'll deffo be FIFA for me.

I tend to stick with Pro...then buy Fifa when it goes down in price.

They both have pro's and con's IMO.

Fifa's great online, the AI is better, passing smoother. But there's never any individuality in the players and teams like in Pro. In Fifa the players either run faster/slower, keep the ball better etc but your Lampards, Gerrards, Kaka's etc never really move or feel different than playing with less powerful players.

Pro has more individual players that look and move like the real thing.

This years Pro seems to have alot more going for it - better graphics, Europe League, Champs League, master league where you can manage youth and reserves, better in game tactics and individual tactics to players you can do mid-game. Its also gone to the 360 analogue controller.

Fifa's just improved how many moves you can pull off and free kicks.

The most interesting one is Pro for this year IMO. I also love the edit mode...

Anyone know if Fifa have put saving replays on the console yet? Its awful the way you can never do that.

I play Pro Evo only, used to play Fifa back in the day, but there has been some awful 1s, so tend to stay away from them. Also I only play on the PC and the PC ports of both games are pretty awful.

There was a feature on 09 where when connected to the internet on 360 or PS3 you could upload goals in the replay option to your profile online.

Also FIFA have introduced a 360 motion on the new game, meaning the players move more realistically rather than in straight lines.

They've vastly improved the manager mode too, which is a bonus for me as I love playing manager mode on 09.

However on that version it was a bit too unrealistic, the transfer system was poor, you couldn't arrange friendlies etc. It's been given a massive overhaul.

we allways had the theory that it was the top 4 teams that got a stadium.. imagin the delight when we broke into the top 4.. no such luck

Just hooked my xbox up to my modem for the first time in ages (had connection issues with PC's in other areas of the house so the missus moved the modem and im not paying £60 for a wireless card) and wanna have a go on live tonight as she's at work. Dont get paid until tomorrow so cant get a subscription to live. Has anyone got a free code for 2 days? you get them with games. I dont have any :( If anyone has a spare one could i please have the code? Would love you for ever. xxx

Since FIFA 06 I think they've been better, with 08 onwards being massively better than Pro Evo 2008 and so on.

I think it's interesting to look at the art direction in this years Pro Evo, it almost looks identical to FIFA.
