I’ve jetwashed my whole front and back of house as it was all full of moss and weeds since I moved in.

Read online on best way to now fill in the gaps in between the paving slabs and the back patio and I keep finding either Polymeric Sand or Kiln dried sand.

To me a complete novice the Kiln dried sand seems the best option and seems fool proof.

The Polymeric looks the best and has longer results. But seemingly has easy ways to ruin the slabs/patio if done wrong.

I’m sure there’s a few of you who’ve done this before who could offer me some advice on how to go ahead.

Sand cement mixture (5:1) dry, brush in, sprinkle with water (not so heavy that the sand gets washed away under the slabs). That's what I've done in the past - then you have to fill 8n the holes.

Don't know if it's the right thing to do as I thunk it up myself, but it worked OK.

Whatever you do just make sure you put something in there!!! We jet washed a load of herring bone paving at work a few years ago, thought it looked great then next year the weeds, OMG big mistake.

Have you tried sawdust?

Add a strong 3-1 cementing the sand and brush in dry......that may stop the weed growth.....the sand alone will aid weed seed germination......

A big job would be to lift them all & out a weed suppressant semi predominance weed suppressant membrane down and lay on a fine gravel......I

They have been laid incorrectly.....

The correct answer of course is use SIKA fast fix all weather, about 25 notes for a 15kg tub.
