with the film about the great man himself about to be made, it got me thinking, are we the most filmed club ? i remember films/plays but cant remember the names, how many have there been?

theres the sixties one where they all go to london and take arsenals end, then off to see some strippers.
i remember 1 about a load of young lads who hitch their way to fortuna sittard, think they hitch from east lancs m6, just down the road from me.
are these available over the net ?
how many others are there about us?

I think you'll find that Arsenal hold that title Reidy. Before the war Highbury was used for all footballing scenes and such football films as the Highbury Stadium Mystery for one got made there

i'm sure i remember reading somewhere that slade filmed the video for their "hit" single "give us a goal" at the goldstone in hove.

There was the movie Seven Times Seven in the sixties, based on our 1966 FA Cup win and a heist at the Royal Mint.

CT I had totally forgotten that one, never seen hide nor hair of it since. One problem will be BBC plays, they used to record over old tapes to save money hence early Dr Who's, Steptoe and Son have been lost

there was, until not THAT long ago a factory near me that made Rank Strand cinema seats and part of the place appeared to be stacked to the roof with film cans, to think what cinematic gold must have been in that place, it may have all ended up on the tip but i reckon when it went was after the value of these sorts of things was realised so they were probably saved. wouldn't mind afew to waz on ebay though. prior to that it was sovereign toffee works and now its a housing estate.
