The timing of the announcement will be interesting… probably on a Friday, an hour before kick off or maybe when some popular evertonian has just died

Well, regardless of how other clubs might be feeling, I still don't see how it makes the league look anything other than weak to threaten a 12 point deduction and deliver a suspended 6 point deduction.Not seen that appetite to be honest, only from fans of bitter teams who went down.
All I've seen is "what a joke considering Chelsea, Man City" etc, and people using the charge to beat FFP with.
Also interesting to see BBC referencing this again;
Guilty of being BY FAR THE GREATEST TEAM THE WORLD HAS EVER SEEN.We are guilty.
This is it in a nutshellGuilty of being BY FAR THE GREATEST TEAM THE WORLD HAS EVER SEEN.
Arsenal gets one too 'cos they didn't zee thi incident.
Yeah, either us or the PL can appeal the decision and can appeal the punishment. But there isn’t scope for any third party to appeal the decisions in the rules.
If either us or the PL appeal, a new “Appeal Board” will be set up by the Chair of the Judicial Panel consisting of 3 members. So I guess they review the decision making of the commission and decide whether it’s fair or not.
I haven’t seen anything specific and it seems nobody knows exactly what we‘re accused of . In comparison to City it appears that it is fairly simple whereas they have over 100 “ charges”, hence more complicated, hence more time needed , hence we’ve come first. But it’s not necessarily much worse because we’re before them, just simpler.Can somebody summarise what we are accused of and why it is so much worse than Man City that we would get points deducted rather than a fine ?
The potential punishments for Everton and City could have massively different implications also. If for example both clubs were deducted 12 points. In Citys case, based on last seasons points total, they would still qualify for the Champions League. Everton however could be cast oblivion never to be seen again.
