YouTube - England World Cup Squad '82 - This Time (We'll Get It Right)

Sing along yourself. I still love it. I was 8. be kind

We're on our way,
We are Ron's twenty-two
Hear the roar,
Of the red, white and blue

This time, more than any other time, this time,
We're going to find a way,
Find a way to get away,
This time, getting it all together

To win them all,
It's what we'll set out to do
We have a dream,
We know you're sharing it too

This time, more than any other time, this time,
We're going to find a way,
Find a way to get away,
This time, getting it all together

We'll get it right
This time, get it right,
This time

It makes you wonder,
It makes you proud
To play for England,
And hear the crowd

As we're marching
On towards victory

This time,
This time

We're on our way,
We are Ron's twenty-two
Hear the roar,
Of the red, white and blue

This time, more than any other time, this time,
We're going to find a way,
Find a way to get away,
This time, getting it all together

We'll get it right
This time, we'll get it right

Cool thread.

My first single was Coz I Luv You - Slade about 1971 probably brought from Bob Isherwoods on Kirkby Market.

The first album was Suzi Quatro's in 1973 and that is going on when I get home. Loud.:D

No not loud, F***** loud.

I had a crush on Kylie Minogue when i was in my teens and if memory serves me right, my first single was one from her. I just cant remember which one it was.

Nice one white. You just prompted my memory of the first album I ever bought myself.

Meatloaf - Bat out of Hell.

It was released when I was 3(1977) but when I was 8 I was chuffed to have the money to buy the album.

First single I ever bought, Teenage Rampage by The Sweet, early 70s and still have it in origonal condition, First album, bought for me, by the way, was Val Doonegans greatest hits, likewise still have it. First album I bought was the Rolling Stones Sticky fingers, just because it had a zipper on the front cover and looked cool. Had never really heard the band then but now am a big fan.
