my turn for a thread of note ay.

only a few hours before we find out when we face the inbred kopites home and away.

boxing day hopefully will be a good home fixture as well. (hutchinson inspired everton smash sunderland 5 - 0)

I was at that Sunderland game. Was a cracker, twatted them all over the place and they were fourth or something at the time.

I reckon Reading first game.

The second thing I look for is when we play the [Poor language removed].

I dreamt that the other night.

Have a good feeling about this season, i can see the current top four begining to crack namely liverpool, arsenal, and chelsea reckon wel be in with a chance of C.L. with Spurs and Newcastle.

The fixtures are so important if the past two seasons have thought us anything it is how you start the season will shape the entire season.

We are due to play Liverpool at Goodison on the 20th October and then we go to their place on 29th March. Subject to change though as both teams have European dates.

I am the unluckiest [Poor language removed] under the sun.

Birds 18th an Liverpool at home on the same day. Only day I didnt want Liverpool. :(

Just looking at the fixtures weve got a great oppurtunity for a good start. As i said above this is vital in how the season pans out.

Another thought just struck me the fact that we will be likely to play on Thursdays in the UEFA CUP means that many of the games will probably take place on a sunday. I wonder will this mean that we might be on the T.V. alot next season, i think im right in saying that every time a game is shown live on Sky Sports that we get 500,000. Could be a nice little earner.

Exactly Neiler, nothing like a home fixture on the opening day and Wigan at home and a great chance of three points is something to look forward to.
Regarding the Sky money, i think you are right.

I always like an opening day home fixture and we have an end of season home tie as well, which is nice...
