Scientists say the earth’s magnetic field is about to flip upside down, meaning that not only would it disorientate migratory birds and disable satellites, it would also expose all life on the earth’s surface to lethal radiation from the sun. A reversal would also flip the north and south poles and compasses pointing north would then point south.
