Football on holiday

Anyway ever seen a football match while on holiday abroad,not including everton and by seen I mean gone to the ground if the answer is yes how did it compare to goodison.

I've only ever been as far as tranmere (not on holiday though).

Seen a few in Spain and Cyprus, lower league in Greece. Theyre mad.

Never seen a football match outside Britain. Suppose the most exotic and far flung stadium ive been to is Pittodrie!

when working in Holland went to a preseason game at Ajax I just felt out of place mind you I was on my own.would never work away during season and to be fair my boss never asked

went with a mate to see holland v san marino in a world cup qualifier in utrecht, back when they were in the same qualifying group for usa'94 as engerlund - the dutch couldn't understand why we were there & neither could we when we were freezing our bollocks off in the stadium - by far the coldest i've ever been at a match.

a couple of years back we were on holiday in belgium with some friends & decided to take the kids to see psv eindhoven v red star belgrade in a cl qualifier. due to be back there in april & considering going to see psv play fiorentina.

Saw Inter vs Lazio Copa Italia game in '06 at the San Siro. Awesome Stadium but half empty and hardly any atmosphere. It seemed as tho they hold the cup in as low regard there as some here do (esp the carling).
