footy this morning!!!

so after a heavy night of drinking and watching the boxing i turned up for my footy team this morning feeling a bit rough!!

so i walk in to the cafe were we meet and the manager calls me over and says "do you have any gloves?" so thinking for a secound i just said"no"!

so we get the the pitch and in the changing room he names the side with me in GOAL:o :o :o cuz the real keeper has broke his finger!

i havent played in goal for about 12 years!

so i take it on the chin and get changed for the game!!

so to summerrise the game quick! it went like this!

we went 1-0 up then i pull a blider of a save off!!:o then about 10mins later i give a penalty away:angry: (which was never a pen!!) so after much arguing i get in goal for the pen which the guy trys to place into the bottom left corner but fozzy the cat manages to dive full stretch and parry it out and collects the rebound!:o :o

so i kick the ball up field to are stiker who then turns his man and slots it in the top corner!!

so i save the pen then get an assist:D b)

and we went on to win 4-1:D
 
You know, Foz, Derby has suffered enough this season. You could have been sporting and took it easy on them this morning.
 
I got a sin bin in 5 a side.

It beats getting a straight red last week and narrowly escaping a fine and a ban.
 
I played my first match of the indoor season and we lost 12-0. half the guys on my team had never even seen a football before and couldn't run at all. for most of the game it was 4 of their strikers against me and my mate the goalie (who had never played in net before). Fozzy, wanna come join my team?
 

I'm playing indoor right now. We just started and won our first match 10-4.

I score the occasional cracker but really play in back and organize the defense (all two of us. :lol: )

we started this season crap! after last year when we won the treble!!

its was my 3 game of the season cuz of injury! they had only won one game out of the first 6 games but since ive been back we have won 4-0, 7-0, and 4-1 and i started all of these games one at centre back one at right back and one in fooking goal!! and by the sounds of it im in goal until the keepers finger is unbroken!! so about 6 weeks i think should be fun cuz i did enjoy it realy!!
